Registering with TripConnect

In order to take advantage of certain features on the Site, you may be required to register with TripConnect. TripConnect's use of any personal information that you provide to TripConnect during any registration process is governed by TripConnect's privacy policy.

TripConnect Account

If you register with TripConnect, you agree to take full responsibility for maintaining the confidentiality of your account user name, password, and all related activity that occurs under your account user name. If you create a group ("Group") on the Site, you agree to take full responsibility for the administration of the Group on the Site. You agree that you have the authority to act as the Group moderator on behalf of the Group and that you have the authority to use the name(s), logo(s) and any branding or other materials associated with the Group you administrate on the Site, and that such name(s), logo(s) and branding or other materials do not infringe on the intellectual property rights of any third party or violate any laws or regulations.

Posting Reviews, Messages and My Profile Information on TripConnect

TripConnect reserves the right, but not the obligation, to refuse to post or to remove any Review, Message or My Profile information or any other material for any reason, including but not limited to materials that contain or feature any of the following:

1. Offensive language, including harmful or abusive language, expletives or profanities, obscenities, or hate speech, or harassing, vulgar, or sexually explicit language
2. References to illegal activity
3. Content that contains personal attacks
4. Personal information, such as phone numbers, mailing addresses, e-mail addresses, personal Web sites, etc.
5. Messages that are clearly advertising or commercial in nature and do not specifically relate to the subject at hand
6. Content other than text, such as photos, sound, or other images
7. Content determined by TripConnect to be illegal or to violate any federal, state, or local law or regulation or the rights of any other person or entity
8. Content that is not in English, that is encrypted, or that contains any viruses, Trojan horses, worms, time bombs, cancelbots, or other computer programming routines that are intended to damage, interfere with, intercept, or appropriate any system, data, or personal information
9. Content that violates the standards of good taste or the standards of this Web site, as determined by TripConnect in its sole discretion.

Review, My Profile Information and other materials are not endorsed by TripConnect

Reviews and ratings do not reflect the views of TripConnect or affiliated companies; or its employees, officers, directors, or shareholders.

TripConnect does not assume responsibility or liability for any Review or for any information or any materials posted by any user nor does TripConnect assume responsibility or liability for any claims, damages, or losses resulting from any use of the Site or the materials contained therein.

Reviews and data are owned by TripConnect

All information collected by TripConnect and residing in TripConnect's databases (other than photographs submitted by users which are covered under the "Photographs" section below) shall be owned exclusively and in perpetuity by TripConnect. Reviews and other materials that are submitted to TripConnect shall be owned exclusively and in perpetuity by TripConnect. Such exclusive ownership means that TripConnect and/or affiliated companies have the unrestricted, perpetual, and exclusive right to use, reproduce, modify, translate, transmit, and distribute any and all materials and communications regarding and including submitted Reviews. TripConnect is under no obligation to give credit or pay any consideration to you for your Reviews or any other materials you submit.

Photographs

You must own, or have the exclusive right to display and use, all photographs that you place on the TripConnect website. By placing one or more photographs on the TripConnect website, you hereby agree to grant to TripConnect a world-wide license to use, reproduce, modify, transmit, distribute and display such photographs.
