A charming re-done palace in the provincial town of 'Aviles in Asturias. Comfortable rooms, some of which overlook fabulous town garden. The hotel is on the main town square with very lively town life. Great efforts are being made to restore the old parts of Aviles. Very nice town walks and lots of small restaurants. From here easy to go to the coast of Asturias and to better known places like Oviedo (airport there about 1//2 hour away) This would be a good center for walking trips etc. At the moment the restaurant is being redone. There is a small bar with good snacks. Very nice staff.
