The Addison on Amelia is a beautiful inn within walking distance to the historic town of Fernandina Beach, where you'll find most of the restaurants and shopping on the island. The house itself is beautiful - our room was clean and very nicely-decorated with luxurious sheets and towels. In the middle of the Inn, a lush, tropical garden and large fountain maintain the feeling of being in an oasis of calm. The innkeepers, Bob and Shannon, go out of their way to make you feel at home. We enjoyed chatting with them over complimentary wine and snacks during the Inn's happy hour. We enjoyed both happy hour and our delicious homemade breakfasts on the porch overlooking the garden. With only the briefest mention that we'd like to take a carriage tour, Shannon was on the phone booking a carriage ride for us while we set out to explore the island.

The Addison of Amelia had everything I could ask for in a B&B and is truly a wonderful place to stay!
