I am a teacher, I lead student trips to England every year, and have visited Bath several times. It's a touristy town where one can be easily overwhelmed. Visit Bath Abbey to regroup and get your bearings. It's gorgeous, and often overlooked as one of the great churches of England. Obviously you will want to visit the Roman Baths, which are indeed fascinating. Stay away from them in the summer, though...they are mobbed, and you won't get much out of the audiotour if you can't see anything. In  more...
