Amsterdam is worthy of repeat visits. The city has much to offer--museums, interesting bars, restaurants, and even more so, cafes. It isn't necessarily a place for children-focused travel, particularly since there is an underlying "seediness", especially at night. Young people will find it "awe-inspiring", especially if the liberal opportunistic "scene" of drug use and renting out a lady for the evening are partial reasons for a visit.
