Bilbao, the largest city in the Basque region of Spain, is home to the Guggenheim Museum of Bilbao, but unfortunately not much else. The city is primarily industrial and untouched by tourists despite the attraction that the Guggenheim brings. Expect lots of small Spanish cafes with traditional Basque food (very heavy on the meat, like much Spanish cuisine) and a lot of local bars and cafes.
