My husband and I visited Barcelona a few years ago and loved it! The city is easy to navigate. We were there in Sept. and there were renovations going on at that time, too, but it did not spoil what we saw or were able to do. The people were very friendly and most that we encountered spoke some English. Dinners are very late so bewarned (we arrived at restaurants between 7:30 and 8:00 a few times and were the only people in the restaurant!) So, they're still playing the same tricks on the
