Cabo Pino is a small port in Marbella. My in-laws have an apartment there, and I have been 4-5 times since 2000. From what I understand it was built as a development and won some prizes for architecture as a sort of faux-Andalusian planned community. And it does deserve the prize because the architecture and arrangement of the buildings centers the activity of vacationers around a central plazita (called the Plaza Major) and the port.
