A particularly entertaining activity in Korea is to go to the beach-- any beach. They tend to be crowded, some-what littered, and full of umbrellas (it was quite a challenge to dodge all of the proper ladies' enormous parasols and try to get a tan). A word of advice: leave the bikini at home-- the majority of korean women wear clothing in the water (a t-shirt and shorts will do).
