Zacopane : There is more than skiing in Zacopane

When most people think of Zacopane, they think skiing. Well let me tell you there is more, much more. In May there is a Jazz Festival. In 2006 it was not only a Jazz Festival but it started with a gospel music concert. A number of groups played everyday in a variety of places. In August there is the Folk Festival and thats the one we attended. Groups from all over Europe come and play every day for 6-7 days. It is called the International Festival of Highland Folklore.
