Chathm is a very pretty early Cape Cod town and still an active fishing spot. The only drawback is that the approach to the town is rather typical post war south shore Cape Cod junk. My favorite approach to Chatham is by boat, although the channel is subject to shifting sands. The harbor and beach front are beautiful and development within the town has been relatively well done. Visit friends or on a day trip I would recommend reservations or tea at the Chatham Bars Inn (review), although
