Beirut is a fascinating city. I've been there 7 or 8 times in the last 3 years and it became my favorite destination. Where else in the world can you see snowcovered mountains whilst standing at the beach? Great Nightlife, flashy and chique bars clubs, nice but somewhat crazy people, delicious food. Any landmark in Lebanon can be reached with daytrips from the capital and there are loads! Best to visit in summer or during Christmas/New Years. Beirut Go-- if you can by htfshtfs from TX Beruit is a beautiful city. There is lots to do and see in and around Beruit. If the State dept permits, I would highly reccomend this destination. Favorite Attractions: Caves More
