As a history major, I fully appreciate Rome’s significance in human history. As the birthplace of one of the world’s greatest civilizations as well as the seat of one of the world’s largest religions, this city has much to offer to all types of travelers. Families, singles, students, groups – really anyone can enjoy this amazing city.
While in the Italian capital I visited as many of the Roman ruins as I could, spent a day at the Vatican, and even managed to get in some shopping.
