The best time to visit this Midwestern town is when it is—ironically enough—not windy. In the winter months, the weather here can chill your bones. Heavy snow is not out of the ordinary and temperatures below freezing are commonplace. Chicago’s weather tends to be more accommodating during March until September when temperatures range from warm to hot.
