I got here via a cruise ship in 2001. We were on NCL and our destination was Tabyana Beach. Things were pretty basic back then. Have not been back since. However, this was one of the most enchanting stops that I recall. There is a lot of poverty on the island and the local kids followed our tour bus back to the port and begged for money.
