San Marcos, Lake Atitlan Guatemala I was traveling alone in Belize when I met this guy at a bar and he told me about a lake in Guatemala. “It’s magical, spiritual. A healing vortex,” he said. “It may take you a while to get there but it’s totally worth it.” I was in Belize for a month to swim, dive and recover after a messy breakup and a magical and healing lake sounded perfect.
