This beautiful city really captures the Spanish in Guatemala. The churches and streets all hold remeberances of the Spanish. However the Mayan culture is not lost here either. The markets are full of the native people, all selling their wares. Antigua is a tourist city that doesn't quite give the full Mayan experience that the country side of Guatemala give.
