I lived there as a child. One of my clearer memories of a Naval Brat childhood. This is definitely on the list of "everyone should visit at least once in life". The water is beautiful and the ocean life is magnificent. I recommend a glass bottom boat ride. Visit the Maritime Museum of Mel Fisher. Sunset at The Southern Most Point is a must.
