There’s a lot of hype about Macau right now. They say it’s the “Las Vegas of Asia”. Yes, that’s right, in about five years.
Right now it’s a small Chinese island on the brink of worldwide fame and fortune.
Construction is going on here like I have never seen in my life. One hotel has the downstairs casino open while they are still building the top floors. It breaks all sorts of safety code violations, but this is the new China and that doesn’t really matter.
