If it weren’t for the world famous cataratas, very few people would ever visit Foz. It’s got a population of about 300 000, a fair few high rise buildings, and a very soulless concrete landscape. Personally I’d recommend staying in Puerto Iguazu on the Argentine side of the border – far cheaper, and a lot more quaint.
