The Okavango Delta is a water wilderness with very little development. Game viewing is superb and should be explored by foot, safari vehicle, and mokoro - dugout canoe. You will liekly see more animals than people. Not exactly cheap, though. In order to preserve the natueal setting, the govt has made an all out effort to control hotel development, and has opted for a "few" luxury places versus many affordable places. Worth the splurge though. Then again, you can always camp out.
