Brussels is often bypassed as a tourist destination, but it shouldn't be. It is a beautiful city, the highlights of which you can take in during a relaxed day of sightseeing, stopping for the occasional beer. An afternoon's itinerary could start at the Park in front of the King's palace, from there walk over to the Petit Sablon and Grand Sablon.
