The Congress Plaza was undergoing renovations while I stayed there in May 2006, however it's comfortable, conveniently located on the Magnificent Mile, and within walking distance to most major attractions. Only 5 minute walk to Millenium Park, the Art Institute of Chicago, and Grant Park. Safe area for single travelers. Excellent service for reasonable rates.
