About elsimm: I really enjoy traveling. Ever since I was little, my parents have taken me along to places all over North, South and Central America, the Caribbean and Europe. Now as an adult, I love to travel. My goal is to visit each continent and hopefully each country in North and South America and Europe. I really enjoy doing all of the leg work that is needed prior to taking a trip. I read tons of travel books and web sites and especially take time to look for pictures of each attraction and destination to get a feel of what I will see. When I do my research, I take extra care reading other traveler’s comments about places they have been to and what they have encountered. I have found what some people rave about doesn’t really work for me and vice versa. I read these comments with an open mind. When I travel I try to visit all of the historical monuments, learn about the culture, mingle with the locals, partake in the nightlife, shop for regional crafts as well as fashion trends, and take lots of pictures. I have had the opportunity to take luxury trips as well as budget trips. After so many years of experience, I prefer the budget trips because at the end of the day, I only spend a couple of hours in a hotel room and the experience is much more genuine.
