About ebarone: I had a job, a desk, a career teaching mathematics AND a serious case of wanderlust. A Fulbright exchange to Scotland ignited an insatiable curiosity about the world that could no longer be crammed into school holidays and summer vacations. So, at the age of 35, I traded academia for the wild blue yonder and set out to explore the world and myself. Five continents and eight years later I’ve turned passion into profession and am blessed with a life of discovery, global connections and creative pursuits.
Born: 1963
Has lived in: As a freelance writer I get to choose where I live. I choose Mexico: both Old and New. Together with my husband, I divide my time between homes in Mexico and New Mexico. I've previously lived in Britain and Colorado, Pennsylvania and Delaware.
Tends to travel: Solo, With a friend, With a group, With my partner/spouse, For business, For pleasure
