Rancho Encantado is an eco-resort on the shore of pristine, fresh water Laguna Bacalar (The Lake of Seven Colors) four km. north of the 16th century village of Bacalar (Km marker 24). It has 13 beautiful casitas, several of which are right on the shore of the lagoon. It offers a large variety of spa treatments including lomi lomi massage, and trips to the many Mayan archaeological sites nearby. It is a wonderful place to rest and relax, enjoy swimming, kayaking, boating on the Lagoon and to explore. Birding enthusiasts will love it. The rates are $120 USD and up.
